Lies & their derivatives

When did lying become the dominant political default position? That is followed with lying about the lie by calling it a misstatement or an oversight. Then it’s all ignored by the media and the entire country is expected to play this ignorance game as if we can’t see the lies staring us in the face.

This has become a systemic problem in this White House, beginning with the Stimulus Package.

The Stimulus Package has been a boondoggle. The economy has leveled out a little, but honestly it has been more in spite of the stimulus not because of it. The economy would have righted itself had it not been meddled with, but piling on debt from the stimulus looks like someone is doing something. It didn’t matter if it was the right thing.

The few jobs created came at a $500,000 each price tag. Few if any jobs were created in the private sector that is still hemorrhaging. Nothing about this Stimulus Pkg has done what was promised. Yet, the Obama administration keeps declaring victory by saying, “It could have been worse.” Really? No doubt that is true. However, this administration continues to claim superior intelligence and Nobel prizes know everything. Yet they seem to miss the fact that the 9.7% unemployment rate is not below 8%. Continuing to tell the American people “it could be worse” does not counteract the fact that they had no idea what they were doing and shoved this bill down the people’s throat and pretend it’s working. It’s not. IT IS A LIE.

Now, they’ve done it again with the new financial package that is supposed to prevent another bail out crisis. However, the leading banner-carrier for this legislation publicly stated that they won’t know if it works until we have another crisis. HUH? Talk about a circular argument. They have no idea what this financial package will do, who it will hurt, or what the collateral damage might be, yet they pat themselves on the back because their computer models tell them it will be great, even if it isn’t. IT IS A LIE.

Thus is the “logic” of the Obama Administration. Let’s try theories and computer models and inflict risky financial legislation onto American business and Americans. Then let’s watch to see what happens. I mean, they could look at our country’s history and previous economic woes and see that universally the one common thread that helped the economy recover has always been tax cuts. If you cut taxes there are more funds in Americans’ pockets to spend, which in turn creates jobs, which then produces more tax revenue. Taking money away from taxpayers prevents them from spending, causes unemployment, and ultimately causes serious economic problems. This happens every time taxes are raised. Every time. Yet they prefer to say government is the only way to save our economy. IT IS A LIE.

Let's move to health care. The debate droned on for almost a year. The key selling points to Democrats was that it would save money and reduce the debt and lower costs for American families. Low and behold, six months after the bill passed, the CBO (Congressional Budget Office) releases its updated figures. Not only will this program not save money, it will add to the deficit and substantially increase the costs to American families. Rather than re-examine the financial manipulation or even the practicality of this broad, damaging legislation, the Obama Administration pretends there is no difference, as if the financial damage to our country won't really occur. IT IS A LIE.

For a different kind of lie, just this week, Ken Salazar, former Colorado Senator and now the (completely inept) Secretary of the Interior, LIED and doctored reports on offshore drilling insisting that experts said drilling should be shut down. Said experts cried foul. They did not say that and, in fact, they said the opposite, that stopping drilling was not required and would damage the Gulf economy further. Salazar ignored that, the mainstream media ignored that, and President Obama ignored that, continuing to insist the drilling must be stopped according to experts. The drilling has now stopped and oil rigs are moving to other countries, further devastating the Gulf Coast economy. This is not a misstatement, miscalculation, or difference of interpretation. IT IS A LIE.

While we are on Salazar, last week, he defended pulling 77 oil lease contracts granted in the final days of the George W. Bush administration. Salazar's own inspector general concluded that there was no evidence of any rush to auction off the parcels -- as Salazar claimed. In fact, the leases were granted only after seven full years of rigorous study and debate. Leases have been pulled anyway. Again, this is not a misinterpretation. IT IS A LIE. This is a little thing, but in the U.S. struggle to be energy efficient and the continuing insistence by the Obama administration that they know more and know better than experts and the American people, this counts. A lot.

My favorite lie of the week has been over this Sherrod affair. Andrew Breitbart was set up. He was sent a doctored video and he went with it. His bad, he should have followed up and asked to see the entire video, but he didn’t, and neither did Fox News, the NAACP, or the Obama Administration. The interesting thing is that Fox News is being blamed for this woman’s dismissal. She was told on the phone to resign because she was going to be “on Glenn Beck” that night. Except that she wasn’t. LIE. Beck didn’t even talk about her. In fact, Beck’s first mention of her was the following day when he took her side and insisted the context should be examined before any steps were taken. The first Fox Report about her was Bill O’Reilly who has already apologized for not doing his own homework and checking the context. But O’Reilly’s report was at least an hour after Ms Sherrod had resigned. No one, no one on Fox mentioned Ms Sherrod until after she had resigned/was fired. So how could they be responsible for it? Of course, that isn’t stopping the NAACP, the Obama Administration, nor Ms Sherrod from accusing Fox of this fiasco. Again. IT IS A LIE.

This administration has become a joke of lies, manipulation (typically of its own party), and misdirection. All this discussion about racism and Ms Sherrod is ridiculous chatter usurping the news cycles and keeping Americans from focusing on the important stuff … unemployment, the economy and joblessness.

Need one more lie? Just a little one. Remember how President Obama insisted he “would not rest” until the Gulf oil spill was stopped and cleaned up? Then he went to play golf, and on three vacations, and singing with Paul McCartney at the White House (and a party there every Wednesday since). IT IS A LIE. But you already knew that.

Ann Coulter - Obama's numbers are down, imaginary racism is up

I love Ann Coulter. She's brash, direct, doesn't mince words, says what she thinks, mocks the ridiculous. Liberal political equivalents (Rachel Maddow, Keith Olbermann) are called journalists, she is called a bitch. You do the math.

Most of all, I like Coulter because she makes me laugh. She doesn't take herself, or anyone else, too seriously, and lays out her opinions and jibes like dishes at a church pot luck. I particularly like the first paragraph of her column today where she proudly and accurately proclaims:
The Democrats are depressed about their collapsing poll numbers, so it's time to start calling conservatives 'racist.'"
It does seem to work that way these days, doesn't it. think about it.

The "Journolist" scandal and how it influenced the election

Great article today on the deliberate, planned of attacks Sarah Palin during the election by members of the media. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the media supposed to be unbiased? Aren't they supposed to report the news and present the candidates, not "destroy" a candidate by attacking her and her Down Syndrome child?

These people are despicable human beings, but worse, they manipulated the voters of the United States to the point that some people still believe the ever-increasing stream of vitriol against a woman who is a political rock star. In every office she has held she has obliterated corruption and put the people back in charge. This is scary stuff for the liberal media. We can't have Americans thinking!

These kinds of attacks by the media are unacceptable and guided the tone and direction of the 2008 election. Does anyone really think that an inexperienced junior senator from Illinois (who never released any personal records whatsoever) would have been elected President over an experienced senator and war hero who chose a running mate that had a history of kicking corruption to the curb with every job she took? Hope & Change turns out to be Manipulation & Deception. How's that working out for ya?

It will be interesting to see how this scandal unfolds .... assuming someone besides Fox reports it. Each of these so-called journalists should be stripped of their job and any award they ever received.

Let's talk about deliberate deception, shall we?

Glenn Beck had a FASCINATING 5 minute video today, proving that the "Center for American Progress" is deliberately distorting the racist claims against the Tea Party. Watch and enjoy. Then feel free to discuss.

More on the "Post-Racial" President

Two excellent articles today on the racism issue .....

Thomas Sowell's Race Card Fraud and Dennis Prager's NAACP Confirms Election of a Black President Made No Difference. Both articles have good observations regarding the current situation in our country and how the Boy Who Cried Wolf-accusations of racism by the NAACP and other race-baiters have shot themselves in the foot. Americans are tired of it. We are tired of our own President showing racial preference (the Boston Police situation, the Justice Dept and now the Dept of Agriculture). We are tired of being accused of racism for disagreeing with President Obama's policies. We are tired of the race "industry" slamming whomever they wish with little to no actual evidence and them being taken seriously by the mainstream media. We are tired of their own racism being ignored, not reported, not investigate, and eventually overlooked.

Check out the articles. They are more than worth the time to read.

How to Solve the Immigration Mess

Bruce Bialosky has a brilliant column today on how to solve the immigration mess. Great, thoughtful ideas that will never, ever be implemented. Why? Because it involves allowing illegals to stay in the U.S. but not being allowed to vote. Ever. Do you know any Democratic representative who would support that kind of legislation? Isn't that kind of their purpose in supporting illegal immigration and amnesty programs? To get more voters?

Bialosky's first priority is, of course, the border must be secured. We all know this. Any comprehensive immigration reform will NOT work unless the border is first secured. The triple fence has clearly worked as indicated by the substantial decline in illegal immigration in Southern California. President Obama put a stop to its construction as soon as he took office. It's time to finish the darned thing!

Also on the list, ban anchor babies. There is nothing in the Constitution that supports giving citizenship to a baby born here to illegal parents. It's a ludicrous policy and no other country in the world does this. Why do we?

Here are Bialosky's other ideas regarding citizenship for those already illegally here. Give them a choice of going to the back of the immigration line or agree to the following:
  1. They will become citizens in 10 years.
  2. They will never be able to vote (remember that they came here illegally and have chosen to stay here in an extraordinary fashion, and thus have not earned the right to vote).
  3. They must maintain both automobile and medical insurance, verified by the INS or a related agency.
  4. They can receive no governmental benefits – no unemployment, no food stamps, no WIC, and no welfare. If they do not abide by these rules, they forfeit their right to stay here. They can participate in the Social Security and Medicare systems while they are earning their citizenship.
These are common sense measures that would allow those who are already here to work and benefit their families. It would eliminate abuse of our generous system and those who come here simply for the benefits.

An interesting idea, but as I said above, I don't see many liberals agreeing to it ... if any.

More on fake racism accusations....

For the NAACP to call the Tea Party a bunch of “racists” is like Rosie O'Donnell complaining that Chelsea Handler is a bit flabby in the arms, sometimes snacks too much, is not as pretty without her makeup, and really isn’t all that funny.

So starts Doug Giles' weekend column, "Andrew Breitbart to NAACP's Ben Jealous: Go to Hell!" Yes, yes, I'm still talking about the NAACP, racism, and the NBPP's outrageous and blatant voter intimidation case. I might as well, no one but conservative talk show hosts & columnists, Fox News, and Breitbart are talking about it ... certainly you won't hear a peep from the so-called mainstream media.

Giles hits it on the head here, using sarcasm and snarkiness in an artful and effective way, pointing out the blatant hypocrisy of the NAACP as well as the Obama Administration, Holder specifically. Giles is known for his edgy columns. He speaks clearly, plainly, and frequently antagonistically .... but he typically nails it.

If We the People do not stomp on these faux claims of racism, or at least publicly object to them, the NAACP, NBPP, and the Obama Administration will have us embroiled in a false race war within a year. The saddest part is that it's not only unnecessary and uncalled for, it's only a diversion tactic to focus Americans on something besides the bad economy, the increasing unemployment rate, and the complete failure of the Stimulus Package as well as the continuing run-away spending of our Congress and the President.

Don't fall for it.

Racism and our President

David Limbaugh published a very interesting article yesterday, "Obama: Not the 'Post-', but 'Most' Racial President." It was a fascinating list of the ways in which President Obama has set back the cause of race relations in our country rather than promote the harmony and joining together of Americans that he promised in the 2008 election. It's a very good article, and pretty enlightening to see specific things he has done gathered in one place. It's actually a little surprising we aren't in an all out race war from his irresponsibility in this matter.

Of course the same can be said about his political "harmony." It was clear early in his administration that President Obama's idea of bringing the parties together was for the opposing party to support him and do everything he says. This is one of those glaring examples of his inexperience in leadership. A good leader brings out the strengths of others, allows them to use their strengths and shine individually and as a group. A poor leader is all about himself, his causes, what he wants, his vacations, how he looks, and the heck with anyone else. His arrogance and self-importance appears to increase exponentially on a weekly basis, yet his reasons for pride are dwindling to the point his main accomplishment now appears to be simply that he's the first Black President ..... hardly a post-racial statement since it focused entirely on his race.

I keep reflecting on the 2008 primary speech that Hillary Clinton gave in Rhode Island ....

That still makes me laugh.

Interestingly enough most Americans want to see the races get along, Republicans and Democrats work together, and an end to hunger and want. Sadly we have a President who can best be described as a snake oil salesman ... he said lots of things on the campaign trail that promised he could help achieve these things, but ultimately the only promise he has kept has been to "fundamentally change" our country .... back to civil rights era anxiety, the systematic dismantling the most successful economic system in the world where citizens are allowed to keep the fruits of their labors, and blatant, open corruption that is usually only seen in Chicago.

"Those who fail to learn from history, are doomed to repeat it." — Winston S. Churchill

Today we have a short, to the point, brilliant article from Walter E. Williams, A Failed Obama Hero. Clearly the Obama Administration needs to look at what actually happened during the Depression rather than what they choose to believe happen. The desire to believe in Fantasyland is charming in a child, embarrassing in an adult, and disastrous to the economic health of our country.

It's a very simple principle .... the government creates nothing (except bureaucracy and dependency, of course). Every dollar it spends must be taken away from a taxpayer or borrowed from China (or others). Dollars taken from taxpayers are removed from the marketplace and cannot be spent buying food, cars, vacations, etc. or investing in business, and therefore cannot create jobs.

It is insane to continue this myth that our government can spend us out of economic difficulty. Every new tax destroys jobs, which means less people paying taxes and ultimately less tax revenue. Every tax cut allows taxpayers to buy goods which creates jobs, which means more taxpayers and more tax revenue.

Roosevelt learned it the hard way. If President Obama considered Roosevelt to be one of his heroes, why is Obama not paying attention to the reality of what the continued fiscal irresponsibility of his administration and Congress will cause, as proven by Roosevelt & Hoover.... high(er) unemployment, jobs leaving the country (to a more business-friendly environment), lower tax revenues.

It really is that simple. Cut taxes, employment and tax revenue will increase. Raise taxes, employment and tax revenue will decrease. Which is a better solution for our country?

Al Franken is a Big, Fat Idiot...and a fraud

Eighteen months after his "election," there is evidence that Al Franken won because 341 convicted felons illegally voted for him. Most of us recognize that Franken is a political idiot. He never takes the mic that he doesn't insult a fellow Senator or embarrass himself (and the rest of America). He's a joke. A bad joke. But allowing convicted felons to vote? This is called voter fraud. Convicted felons are not allowed to vote. As Franken only won by 312 votes, those illegal felon votes made the difference in the outcome of this election and in the make-up of the Senate, as Franken's vote passed legislation that would not otherwise have passed.

"Prosecutors have to act more swiftly in prosecuting cases from the 2008 election to deter fraud in the future," he said, "and the state has to make sure that existing system, that flags convicted felons so voting officials can challenge them at the ballot, is effective. In 90 percent of the cases we looked at, the felons weren't flagged."

This is not an accident. As the evidence of widespread voter fraud from the 2008 election piles up, every American should be concerned and question what is going on. Because if this continues, we will never have another honest election in this country and our freedoms will gradually dwindle and die.

Voter fraud & intimidation in 2008 ... against Hillary Clinton

Now, I know what you're thinking, I'm off about how McCain lost when he shouldn't have. But, you're wrong. This is about the voter fraud and intimidation used against the supporters of Hillary Clinton in the 2008 primary. Ultimately this was fraud against all Americans, not just voters, not just Hillary supporters.

I remember being amazed that anyone could stop her. Hillary was on a roll and claiming victories all along the way. Of course the Obama camp had Sean Hannity and lots of other conservative talkers trying to "stop Hillary," but, seriously, did Hillary supporters or Democrats listen to any of that anyway? Hardly. Though I was no supporter of Clinton's myself in 2008, I do remember being surprised she did not prevail. She had enormous support, experience, political history, a voting record, and she was much loved by her constituents in New York. There was no great scandal to take the spotlight off of her and hand it to a little known junior senator in his first term. Obama had little experience, no publishable voting record, and other than being a good speaker and black (well, half black) he had no solid qualifications to be a Senator, much less President!

But he won ....

There were a few grumblings back then, but the media (even Fox) turned deaf ears. Occasionally questions have cropped up, mostly from blogs and voters who were given no explanation for how they were treated. And there was curiosity about how Obama managed this coup, particularly considering toward the end he was losing steam and Hillary was gaining steam. But once the DNC decided Obama should receive votes cast for Hillary as well as all the undecideds in Michigan (link), the writing was on the wall. I remember going ... HUH? How can the DNC just randomly give votes away? Then there were similar shenanigans in Florida, whose primary was clearly for Hillary, yet at the Convention voted for Obama (link). And then it was over. Obama won, Hillary didn't.

As I wasn't a supporter of either, I didn't really pay attention all that much other than to wonder what Hillary had done to lose. That was a big mistake. What happened during that primary was a clear indication to ALL Americans of just how corrupt this administration would be.

Now, slowly, the truth of what happened is coming out. There is a documentary in production by GiGi Gaston, called We Will Not Be Silent. Fox & Friends Weekend did a great piece on it this weekend and I expect other Fox programs will follow suit. No "mainstream"media source has said anything about this, nor have they mentioned the New Black Panther Party intimidation case being dropped nor have any videos of their leaders (which promote the killing of all whites including white babies) making vicious, racist statements. They are, of course, playing Mel Gibson's racist comments every half hour. (insert eye roll here)

Want more? Darragh Murphy from PUMApac has a great article, In case you didn't hear us the first time..... Below is just a sampling of this article, which breaks down some of the vile things Obama did in the 2008 campaign. After you've read it, ask yourself, if the DNC and Obama were willing to do this to someone in their own party, what prevents them from doing it in general elections (aka the Black Panther intimidation, etc) and to continue doing it. As Murphy says in another part of the article,"Barack Obama and his Movement will lie, cheat, and steal ti win elections. Literally."

But not only did Clinton receive more votes; she also received them in a climate of corruption, intimidation, and blatant favoritism practiced by the media and the party referees; the Dem party leadership and media honchos who had the hots for an obama presidency. In Nevada and Texas, the corruption and illegal activity by the obama campaign against Clinton voters at the polling places was so blatant and out of control that the Clinton Campaign officially registered a complaint with the DNC and requested an investigation into, among other things:

  • Deliberately miscounted votes to favor Senator Obama.
  • Deliberately counted unregistered persons as Obama votes.
  • Deliberately counted young children as Obama votes.
  • Refused to accept preference cards from Clinton supporters who were at the caucus site by noon on the ground that the cards were not filled out fast enough.
  • Told Clinton supporters to leave prior to electing delegates.
  • Clinton supporters who arrived late were turned away from the caucus, while late Obama supporters were admitted to the caucus.
  • Obama supporters falsely informed Clinton supporters that no registration forms were available for them to register to vote at the caucus site.
  • Obama supporters wrongly told Clinton supporters who were attempting to caucus at the wrong precinct that they could not caucus at that site, while simultaneously permitting Obama supporters at the wrong precinct to participate.
  • Obama supporters were allowed to move to the front of the registration and sign-in line.
  • Workers were informed that their supervisors kept lists of Clinton and Obama supporters, and were told that they could not caucus unless their name was on the list of Obama supporters.
  • Many Clinton supporters were threatened with employment termination or other discipline if they caucused for Senator Clinton.
  • Workers were required to sign a pledge card to support Obama if they wanted time off to participate in the caucus.
  • Workers at one casino were offered a lavish lunch and permitted to attend and register to vote only if they agree to support Obama.
If you want more info on the details and extent of the fraud perpetuated by the Obama campaign and the DNC, you can see the documentary to date on her web site at wewillnotbesilenced2008.com

The Lop-Sided Media and the Department of Justice

Kevin McCullough's Town Hall column today states that Megyn Kelly, an elegant, outstanding, and diligent reporter has been attacked as a racist for her thorough coverage of the Department of Justice (DOJ) scandal regarding their blatantly racist policy and lack of prosecution of the New Black Panther Party voter intimidation case. McCullough's column does not specifically state who is attacking Kelly, which is a weakness in his story, however, if this is true, it should not be tolerated.

Our media has been overtly corrupt for years now. Perhaps it's an occupational hazard, perhaps a deliberate attempt to manipulate We the People, who certainly fell for it during the 2008 election. Some still complain that President Bush was given too much leeway and media support, particularly just post 9/11. And that was appropriate at the time, we were a nation under attack, and our President represented a strong, unifying figure. But when one looks at the cream puff treatment President Obama has been given during his first 18 months in office, not to mention during the campaign, it makes the mild Bush years look like Watergate coverage. No serious questions were asked of candidate Obama by the mainstream media while John McCain and Sarah Palin were racked over the coals daily. When one looks at the Pew Research statistics (link) the one-sidedness of the so-called mainstream media is glaring.

Now we see it happening again with the complete absence of coverage in the mainstream media of the Department of Justice, and Eric Holder in particular, scandal. And it IS a scandal. Every American, regardless of race, should be screaming in protest to what was done. Yet the majority of Americans don't even know it has happened because they limit their news sources to CNN and the New York Times.

Fox is repeatedly accused of being one-sided, but the fact is that it is even-handed in its reporting, but the lefty media is so biased it makes Fox's moderate coverage look right-leaning. Aside from Hannity (who is blatantly partisan), both the hard news reporters and even news commentators are fair. Yes, even O'Reilly. Yes, even Beck, who gives facts, figures, and legitimate history in his television broadcasts (I can't speak for his radio show).

We the People should demand honesty and thoroughness in news reporting not to mention complete discloser of this racist DOJ policy. We are certainly not getting it now.

Racism in the 21st Century

Michelle Malkin wrote a brilliant column yesterday called "Whitewashing Black Racism." By discussing it, I am, of course, going to be called a racist. That's the typical response whenever a non-black brings up racial arguments. I've been called that before .... during the election by a then dear friend who spun my sports analogy into something ugly and proclaimed me racist. It was wrong and hurtful and destroyed our friendship. And it never occurred to her that her voting for Obama because he was black was more racist than anything I supposedly said. In fact few people mention the overwhelming racism implied in 90% of blacks voting for Obama in the election.

Today if one questions a decision our President makes, "racist" is one of the first things to come from his supporters' mouths. We hear television interviewees constantly regurgitate crap like, "Some Americans just can't tolerate the idea of a black man in the White House." That is absolutely asinine. I don't know ANYONE who says that, and I've never even seen any evidence of it. No video clips, no audio clips, no media articles. No doubt there are some extremists somewhere, but I don't know any and the vast majority of white Americans could care less what color our President is. We just want him to lead effectively and make good decisions for the betterment of our country. Strangely, this pre-occupation with the President's color appears to emanate primarily from the black community, specifically that 90% who voted for him.

That brings us back to Malkin's article. She is specific about the violence-promoting racism of the New Black Panther Party (NBPP), she quotes its leaders. Then she points out that our own Department of Justice has decided that it wasn't voter intimidation for two NBPP members dressed in paramilitary garb and carrying billy clubs while blocking white people from entering to vote and saying, "You're about to be ruled by the black man, cracker." Right. Remember how the black community claimed voter intimidation in Florida in 2000 because there was a police car parked two blocks from a polling place? That claim was given legitimacy. Yet little old white ladies were deliberately frightened away in 2008 and our own DOJ says men with clubs didn't constitute intimidation.

Now we hear from a former DOJ employee (who has a 20 year history of supporting blacks in voter intimidation cases) that no intimidation suits against blacks by whites will be entertained. That the Obama Administration's stand on this is that racism only goes one way .... that blacks intimidating or threatening whites, even with violence, isn't really racism. It's like we've fallen through the rabbit hole and landed in Wonderland.

To complicate matters our mainstream media is not reporting this story at all. Not the intimidation, not the DOJ dropping the case, not the Obama Administration's stand on one-sided racism, not the whistle-blower revelation. You won't find an article in the NY Times or a piece about this on CNN. Fox News and a few conservative columnists (like Malkin) are the only news sources informing the American people of the DOJ's decision. Everyone else pretends it isn't happening.

Not legitimate news? Do the test ..... reverse the situation, imagine if white thugs held sticks and frightened little old black ladies away from voting. Imagine if a white administration dropped charges and said it's not intimidation. Then it would be front page news and the lead story on every broadcast. Deservedly so. However, why isn't this current situation met with the same outrage?

Now also look at the inflammatory things said by these NBPP members....

I'm about the total destruction of white people. I'm about the total liberation of black people. I hate white people. I hate my enemy... The only thing the cracker understands is violence... The only thing the cracker understands is gunpowder. You got to take violence to violence.

You want freedom? You're gonna have to kill some crackers! You're gonna have to kill some of their babies!

Can you imagine the condemnation and outcry from the media, all Americans, and the White House if these things had been said by whites about blacks? Is this the Golden Age of unity President Obama promised? Is this the color neutrality that Martin Luther King said would one day come and candidate Obama claimed victory about?

A thug is a thug and a racist is a racist no matter what color they are. The NBPP members should be prosecuted for what they did, and the Obama Administration and DOJ owe Americans a very large apology for the continued promotion of their own personal brand of racism.

Krauthammer nails it once again

I love Charles Krauthammer. He is arguably the smartest man in the USA and a political powerhouse when it comes to observation and analysis. He's not a fan of the President (nor is any other objectively thinking person these days), though he will give him kudos when they are deserved, which is rare at this point.

Krauthammer's analysis of the new "purpose" of NASA is right on the money, as usual. Our own President continues to insist on the USA's averageness and mediocrity in the world. Praising the Arab nations for mathematical invention a thousand years ago as equal to our society which put men on the moon is beyond ludicrous. Why does anyone believe this stuff? Or justify it being stated publicly by OUR PRESIDENT? Isn't he supposed to be proud of our country? Lead our country?

The selective modesty of Barack Obama is Krauthammer's Washington Post editorial today, highlighting the NASA take down. Take a look. It's well worth the read.

One giant leap backward for mankind

For those of us who witnessed the moon walk in July of 1969, what has just happened to NASA and our space program is not only a tragedy, it is completely non-sensical. How can one possibly rationalize taking the most highly trained aerospace engineers and rocket scientists in the world and making their prime goal to make Muslims feel good about themselves and their scientific advances?

Can ANYONE explain this to me? Our scientists are supposed to give little self-esteem balloons to other countries while the current administration strips all space travel capability from the world's greatest space program?

And where is the liberal media expressing their outrage? For that matter, where is ANY media expressing their outrage?

Add to this the current plans to build a mosque at Ground Zero and have it's grand opening on 9/11. Talk about adding insult to injury. How can this be rationalized in any way except by deliberate insensitivity. Again, where is the media screaming bloody murder about this?

This is absolute insanity and our government and our media are pretending this is a perfectly acceptable use of our space program and Ground Zero. Not only does our Emperor-President have no clothes, it's looking more and more like he's either lost his mind or is now deliberately trying to cripple, insult, and beat down our country and lay is prostrate at the feet of Muslim leaders.

Vive la Difference!

I've been out of town most of the last week and received this in email while I was gone. I thought it was a good way to start our brains moving here. What are your thoughts? Is this accurate? I know it sure seems/feels that way to me sometimes.

Which side of the fence?

If you ever wondered which side of the fence you sit on, this is a great test!

If a Republican doesn't like guns, he doesn't buy one.
If a Democrat doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.

If a Republican is a vegetarian, he doesn't eat meat.
If a Democrat is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.

If a Republican is homosexual, he quietly leads his life.
If a Democrat is homosexual, he demands legislated respect.

If a Republican is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.
A Democrat wonders who is going to take care of him.

If a Republican doesn't like a talk show host, he switches channels.
Democrats demand that those they don't like be shut down.

If a Republican is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church.
A Democrat non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced.

If a Republican decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it.
